About Tiny Voices Herne Bay
About Education & Care Service
Education & Care Services are mainstream early learning centres that offer full-day or part-day care with a structured curriculum, qualified teachers, and a focus on learning through play. They cater to families needing flexible childcare options and wanting a balanced approach that supports social, physical, and early academic development in a diverse environment.
What Is 20 Hours ECE funding?
20 Hours ECE is a government-funded initiative that helps reduce the cost of early childhood education for families with tamariki aged 3–5. Eligible children can receive up to 20 hours of funded care and education each week at participating services. Centres can set their own enrolment patterns and may ask for optional charges, but the funded hours themselves should be free of compulsory fees. If you are unsure how this works at Tiny Voices Herne Bay, it is best to ask the centre directly how they apply 20 Hours ECE.

Parent Reviews
“We couldn’t be happier with Tiny Voices. The teachers are warm, welcoming and genuinely care about the children. Our daughter has been here for around a year now and always comes home happy, full of stories, and excited to go back the next day. The environment feels safe, nurturing, and full of fun learning opportunities. We love the way the staff take the time to get to know each child and celebrate their little milestones, and keep us updated along the way. It gives us such peace of mind knowing she is in safe loving hands, a true home away from home. Highly recommend!”
“Tiny Voices in Herne Bay is the best of the best. I cannot say enough about this learning and childcare centre. My daughter started at here when they first opened just over a year ago. Unlike other daycares and learning centres, from the moment I walked through the door with her, I felt at ease. Every detail of Tiny Voices is thoughtful. The aesthetic is warm and welcoming and so are each and every staff member. Mayada, the Centre manager, is considerate and caring. The teaching staff take the time to genuinely get to know each child and their families. They are always engaged and present with the children- from planning morning activities, to reading and crafting. Their days are full of fun indoor and outdoor activities, special programs such as Tiny Yoga, music lessons, and local outings to explore the surrounding neighbourhood. My daughter will soon be moving to primary school, and I don't know which one of us will be more upset to say goodbye to this very special place. I would recommend Tiny Voices to any parent who seeks a nurturing, safe and caring environment for their child to thrive and grow.”
“In a world where ordinary is the rule of thumb it is so wonderful to be delighted with the quality of services, amenities and staff which all combine to provide secure and engaging care for our small ones. Faultless and friendly surroundings assure any parent is certain that their children are in the right place. No one does it better!”
“Our daughter started attending Tiny Voices when she was around 2 and a half. This was her first experience of being cared for by a non-family member. She embraced the warm, nurturing and relaxed environment immediately, and very quickly it felt like a family for all of us. Over her transition weeks and beyond, I was kept updated frequently about her progress and wellbeing. The communication from the team has been excellent; they are sensitive to each child’s individual needs, insightful, encouraging and enthusiastic. They genuinely care for our daughter and make each day interesting and fulfilling, making lots of learning opportunities along the way. Every morning, we feel comfortable and at ease dropping her off. It has become a home away from home, and our daughter is always so excited to tell us about her day. The environment is always clean, with lots of new activities and resources available for the children, and offering a beautiful indoor-outdoor flow. I am often envious of the on-site nutritious varied food menu which is provided. It’s really all we could have hoped for.”
“I am in love with tiny voices. The teachers are fantastic, nurturing and caring. The food they make is delicious ( I often feel super envious of what my daughter had that day ). The inside of the building is new and beautifully decorated, you feel like you are in someone's home which is comforting for the little ones. There's not many kids just yet as it's newly open but I am looking forward to seeing some more coming in soon and hopefully spreading a good word around. I have tried a few kindys including the one nextdoor in Herne Bay and Tiny Voices has really stood out against them all, especially when it comes to the love and care from the teachers. My daughter is so happy she never wants to leave each day. They also do themed days each month. They did yoga, small animal visit and little chefs. It is a special place and I highly recommend.”
