What Is 20 Hours ECE funding?
20 Hours ECE is a government-funded initiative that helps reduce the cost of early childhood education for families with tamariki aged 3–5. “Three Trees is such a neat day care centre and I was so pleased how well set up it is. My daughter went there in 2018 and she loved going every day. It was heart-warming to me knowing that she had developed meaningful and trusting relationships with kaiako in her room where they helped her feel a sense of belonging by providing a safe, happy, nurturing, and fun-filled environment. We were both greeted every day and the kaiako spoke to me upon collection which is excellent practice. My daughter is now 7 and I still think fondly of this centre.”
“We have had a very positive experience at Three Trees over the last 2.5 years. The staff are amazing, great with communication and provide such a great variety of learning experiences for the children. The outdoor spaces are large and provide lots of opportunities for children to challenge themselves at their own level. We also love that yummy freshly cooked meals are provided every day.”
