The ECC teachers go above and beyond for our tamariki, showing incredible patience, compassion, and dedication to teaching them so much more than I ever expected. They nurture not just learning but also confidence, curiosity, and kindness. I love how they celebrate every child’s uniqueness and encourage them every step of the way. The themed days like Wheels Day are always a hit with the kids, and it’s clear the teachers put a lot of thought and care into creating fun, educational experiences. From hatching chickens to learning how make use of eggs , gardening, baking, cooking ,the hands-on learning is just beautiful to witness. My little ones are always coming home with new knowledge and stories to share. It gives me peace of mind knowing they’re in such a safe, caring, and inspiring environment. I currently have both my youngest enrolled, and I honestly feel so lucky to have found Shining Stars when I did. Each morning drop-off comes with a little sadness, knowing we’re one day closer to saying goodbye when they move on to primary school.
