“When looking for somewhere to enrol my son it was a struggle especially being new to the area. Now I can say thank God for this Kindy. From the query, to the enrollment process, transitioning him into the center to him now being in "the big class" as he says it has been an amazing no hassle experience. The staff from administrators to the various teachers have all made this experience stress free and easy not just for my son but myself as well. I am kept up to date with his learning and progress, as well as activities throughout the year I.e. mothers day breakfast, excursion up Richmond mount, visit from the fire fighters and so on. The centre is multicultural which is another aspect that has won me over. My mother was visiting from overseas and was amazed at my son who began saying his Karikia for Kai in Te Reo (both my partner and I are of Pacific decent). It's situated on a slight hill over looking Richmond park/field and has an outdoor play area just big enough to accommodate the children they have. If you want somewhere that is homely, incorporates family values, keeps you involved in all aspects then I highly recommend this beautiful Kindy. 😊 Thank you ladies for all the wonderful work you do. ❤️”

“Very wonderful and friendly staff also very clean and tidy. The staff are so amazing. My son's loves the staff even though was little bit difficult at the beginning but the staff was so friendly and patience with my son at all time. Now my son enjoy going to school and they are a trustworthy center. So thank you to the manager and staff at best start Portage Rd for an amazing journey fill with love and joy. Appreciate you all. “The exceptional team of staff here is truly inspiring, with everyone being incredibly helpful and welcoming. I've had the privilege of watching my two sons grow and flourish from the start, and I must say, I'm in awe of the nurturing environment that makes me hesitant to send them off to school. We've formed profound bonds with most of the teachers, who extend their support beyond academics, touching many aspects of our family life.
