We came to Wānaka two years ago, hoping to start a new life and build a better future for our daughter, Liyana. Leaving everything we had in Sri Lanka was not easy, but we made that incredibly hard decision because of her. You treat each child with kindness and respect, and your calm, gentle way of handling everything is something very special. “I thoroughly recommend WanaExcel. We have been lucky to have two of our children go through the centre so far and have only ever been hugely impressed. Amazing and caring teachers that really make the effort in creating a welcoming and supportive environment, where they can learn, have fun and grow. Our children formed really strong bonds as a result. It is an extremely well run centre and the additional activities they offer (swimming, dance, horseriding, adventure walks...) to maximise the development of your children is brilliant too. “Two of my boys have been lucky to attend WanaExcel and have loved it there! Kelly was helpful and prompt setting up tours/settling in visits and the transition was very smooth. The teaching staff are brilliant and have a range of talents and passions that they share with the kids. They plan a wide variety of activities outside the preschool too - like biking, dancing and swimming. The two centres prepare them well for starting school - helping with their confidence, independence and making friendships. The communication with parents from the teachers and owners is super - we love all the learning updates, photos and videos that we get regularly.
