About Parkview Preschool
About Education & Care Service
Education & Care Services are mainstream early learning centres that offer full-day or part-day care with a structured curriculum, qualified teachers, and a focus on learning through play. They cater to families needing flexible childcare options and wanting a balanced approach that supports social, physical, and early academic development in a diverse environment.
What Is 20 Hours ECE funding?
20 Hours ECE is a government-funded initiative that helps reduce the cost of early childhood education for families with tamariki aged 3–5. Eligible children can receive up to 20 hours of funded care and education each week at participating services. Centres can set their own enrolment patterns and may ask for optional charges, but the funded hours themselves should be free of compulsory fees. If you are unsure how this works at Parkview Preschool, it is best to ask the centre directly how they apply 20 Hours ECE.

Parent Reviews
“Our 7 month old daughter has been attending Parkview Preschool since she was 5.5 months old, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. The transition process was incredibly smooth, baby settled in really quickly and no tears were shed during this process. On my first day back at work I was sent some beautiful photos of her, which really put my mind at ease. The environment at Parkview is warm, safe, and stimulating and the teachers there are so welcoming and friendly. When I drop her off there are always big smiles, so I feel reassured when I go to work that she is happy there. We feel very lucky to have such a lovely childcare centre, so close to home. So if you are looking for a centre to enrol your child, I highly recommend Parkview Preschool in Helensville.”
“My little one recently started at Parkview, she is a tricky one to settle so was very nervous about the new drop off. The centre is so calm and peaceful, it took no more than 3 days for my daughter to say goodbye and reach out for all of the wonderful ladies working in her area when dropping her off. She is so settled and happy here, I can’t thank the ladies enough for such an easy transition. Highly recommend this centre if you are looking for one with lots of one on one time, and genuine connections between children and teachers.”
