What Is 20 Hours ECE funding?
20 Hours ECE is a government-funded initiative that helps reduce the cost of early childhood education for families with tamariki aged 3–5. Eligible children can receive up to 20 hours of funded care and education each week at participating services. Centres can set their own enrolment patterns and may ask for optional charges, but the funded hours themselves should be free of compulsory fees. If you are unsure how this works at Little Footprints Care and Education Centre, it is best to ask the centre directly how they apply 20 Hours ECE.

Parent Reviews
“Little Footprints has been the best choice for our little guy. We are forever blessed with the care and nuturing he receives from his wonderful teachers. It is an awesome enviroment, always welcoming.”
“My son went to this centre for almost a year between 2.5 to 3.5 yr. Positives: close to train station; rates are reasonable; Good space to move around and play Other Feedback: Barring a couple of temporary teachers (casual staff or from other class), regular permanent teachers’ communication with the child is either absent or only exists while literally yelling at the child. My son told me twice that this and this teacher are very loud that they hurt my ears. Those teachers never made any effort to make a bond with my son as a result till his last day at this centre, he always resisted to go there. My son’s go to - teacher worked differently than shouting but unfortunately she went on maternity leave. I feel it was not a loving environment for my son and I could see visible impact of this on my child.”
