What Is 20 Hours ECE funding?
20 Hours ECE is a government-funded initiative that helps reduce the cost of early childhood education for families with tamariki aged 3–5. Eligible children can receive up to 20 hours of funded care and education each week at participating services. Centres can set their own enrolment patterns and may ask for optional charges, but the funded hours themselves should be free of compulsory fees. If you are unsure how this works at Kids Count - Kelvin Road, it is best to ask the centre directly how they apply 20 Hours ECE.

Parent Reviews
“Staff are friendly and extremely kind and nurturing towards children and truly care about all their families.”
“My niece goes to this school, & it’s absolutely atrocious. The staff are slack, unhygienic and tell false truths. I wouldn’t recommend this place to any parent or family who have young children.”
“Absolutely love KC Kelvin Road! 🥰 My 2 year old is learning so much more and talking a lot more since going here the staff are amazing and always make you feel so welcome highly recommend”
“My son started here at the age of 19 months and continued until he started primary. I love this daycare/Kindy! Before starting my son here I went to see a few different daycares but this one stood out for us. All the whaeas, matuas, and everyone involved were really dedicated. KidsCount Kelvin road was a family. As an immigrant mother, I couldn't have done it with them. They potty trained my son, taught him Te reo and English, patiently dealt every single issues be it emotional, behavioral, or developmental. I highly recommend them. They're the best!”
