What Is 20 Hours ECE funding?
20 Hours ECE is a government-funded initiative that helps reduce the cost of early childhood education for families with tamariki aged 3–5. Eligible children can receive up to 20 hours of funded care and education each week at participating services. Centres can set their own enrolment patterns and may ask for optional charges, but the funded hours themselves should be free of compulsory fees. If you are unsure how this works at Footsteps Adventist Early Learning Centre, it is best to ask the centre directly how they apply 20 Hours ECE.

“We do a good decision to choose this primary school. teachers so friendly and I feel my children safe inside the school”
“Footsteps is an christian early learning center with a wonderful loving inviroment for little people ❤️”
“Footsteps is a wonderful Centre. My 2 youngest children have attended Footsteps over the last 3 years and they have absolutely loved their time here. A beautiful, christian environment where they feel very loved and supported. The teachers are very loving, caring and nurturing and the ratios are low which means the best possible care. They have a wonderful education programme as well, teaching the little ones about everything from the alphabet, their sounds (phonics), numbers, writing their names etc Learning is made fun through plenty of song /waiata and play! The children are all good friends (like a little family) and get along really well. Such a lovely bunch. They have just moved one street over to Pitt Street (close to City Fitness) to a brand new purpose built Centre which is an amazing state of the art facility. They now have the facilities to care for and cater to under 2s as well. If you are looking for the best early childhood centre in Palmy to look after your little ones, then look no further. Can not recommend Footsteps Childcare centre highly enough!! Give them a call or go in and visit them.”
