What Is 20 Hours ECE funding?
20 Hours ECE is a government-funded initiative that helps reduce the cost of early childhood education for families with tamariki aged 3–5. Eligible children can receive up to 20 hours of funded care and education each week at participating services. Centres can set their own enrolment patterns and may ask for optional charges, but the funded hours themselves should be free of compulsory fees. If you are unsure how this works at BestStart Omahu Road, it is best to ask the centre directly how they apply 20 Hours ECE.

“BestStart Omahu Road have been nothing but amazing from the first moment we walked through the door. They have been understanding, worked with us through tough times and given our boy a home away from home. “Awesome place for children, kind amazing teachers”
“I have a terrible experience with best starts. The manager is rude and not welcoming. 3 days after enrolling my kid she told me that she won't accept my little one if she knows am a shift worker which already she enquired before the admission process. Then what's the purpose of these early learning center... I personally don't recommend this institution to anyone.”
