What Is 20 Hours ECE funding?
20 Hours ECE is a government-funded initiative that helps reduce the cost of early childhood education for families with tamariki aged 3–5. Eligible children can receive up to 20 hours of funded care and education each week at participating services. Centres can set their own enrolment patterns and may ask for optional charges, but the funded hours themselves should be free of compulsory fees. If you are unsure how this works at Best Hope Early Learning Centre, it is best to ask the centre directly how they apply 20 Hours ECE.

Parent Reviews
“Besthope is really a Home away from home for children. The ratio of teachersand kids favor strong connection and growth for the kids. We visited many centres before enrolling our child and decided Besthope because of the loving sense of atmosphere from the teachers. On top of that, the kids get to learn about Jesus and the bible through daily activities. Therefore I highly recommend Besthope for any parent that want to see their children thrive in a nurturing environment.”
“The teachers are incredibly caring and dedicated, creating a warm and nurturing environment for the children. “My kids go to best hope, it's a small and cosy kindergarten. The teachers are kind, friendly, patient and also put emphasis on learning for the older kids. The centre is absolutely spotless and welcoming. It's a small centre so kids won't get lost in the crowd! Being a Christian centre, it's great to see the Bible and major celebrations as part of the kids time there. I would definitely recommend this centre to any one without hesitation!”
