What Is 20 Hours ECE funding?

“Waka Huia is the most wonderful place, very child-centred and in a calm/ relaxed/ family environment. Different aged kids all play together, the big kids look out for the little ones, lots of tuakana-teina opportunities. The kaiako are awesome educators, highly experienced and genuinely loving and kind. My daughter has grown a lot under their gentle guidance. She loves the animals (chickens and visiting lambs), outside play year round, cups of tea, dress-ups and treasures (shells, wool) to play with.”
“We have loved all of our children attending Waka Huia childcare, they have always been cared for on such a personal level, the teachers are all kind and caring but also always up for some fun. The centre has a homely feel about it with something baking in the oven for morning kai, the outside area well set out and always a range of new daily activities laid out inside. They are excellent at communication and nothing is ever a problem. Our kids have a ball everyday they attend the centre and come home full of the days stories, highly recommend.”
