“Small Kauri is a wonderful space that has a family feel, we feel lucky to have our son here and know he is getting a high standard of care. The teachers are so kind and do a lot to understand your child and adapt to their needs in so many ways, and it’s great the higher teacher student ratios so children are well looked after. As one of the younger students, our son has many older “siblings” here who are learning nurturing and leadership skills naturally by being together instead of placed in separate age groups, it’s also nice to know that my son will have this consistent environment for his time here and not need to change rooms as he grows. Staff turnover is extremely low allowing for ongoing relationships and being a small, mixed age centre relationships with teachers and other children are not interrupted by changing age rooms. His motor, social and language development has progressed rapidly since he started owing to the rich and varied, child-centred learning experiences that are offered each day.
