“Pakuranga Baptist Kindy is a beautiful boutique kindergarten set in a unique little garden landscape, where the children play and learn about growing and caring for our natural world. The natural environment and our role in it, is one of the key focus areas of their teaching. Their success in this area is made evident in the Enviro Schools awards they have won. My child was attending daycare and was struggling; I thought a kindy setting might work better, as there is more structure to the day, and the teachers are more specialised than daycare staff. I heard about Pakuranga Baptist Kindy through a friend who is a specialist RTLB school teacher; she undertook some research at the kindy and was blown away by the standard of teaching and the fantastic learning they inspired in the children. It was the best decision I have made; my older child is now at school and had a great transition to school thanks to the experience and learning at the kindy. My younger child now attends Pakuranga Baptist kindy, and loves it.
