About Education & Care Service
Education & Care Services are mainstream early learning centres that offer full-day or part-day care with a structured curriculum, qualified teachers, and a focus on learning through play. What Is 20 Hours ECE funding?
20 Hours ECE is a government-funded initiative that helps reduce the cost of early childhood education for families with tamariki aged 3–5. Eligible children can receive up to 20 hours of funded care and education each week at participating services. Centres can set their own enrolment patterns and may ask for optional charges, but the funded hours themselves should be free of compulsory fees. If you are unsure how this works at Little Kiwis Early Learning Centre, it is best to ask the centre directly how they apply 20 Hours ECE.

Parent Reviews
“We’re delighted to share our journey with Little Kiwi Early Learning Centre. Our son MiykhaEl began attending in September 2024 when he was just 8 months old, as I needed to return to work. As a mother, it was an emotional and difficult decision to entrust someone else with his care at such a young age. However, from the moment he started, we saw how happy and excited MiykhaEl was to go there each day. Over time, he blossomed—becoming more independent, dancing to music, feeding himself, joyfully interacting with others and he listening to everything and try to help us. It’s been over a year now, and we’re incredibly grateful for the nurturing environment that has supported his growth. A heartfelt thank you to every teacher and staff member at Little Kiwi for the love, care, and dedication you’ve shown. Your efforts have made a meaningful impact on our son’s development, and we truly appreciate everything you do. I whole heartedly recommend Little Kiwi Learning Centre to any parent seeking a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for their child.”
“One of the best childcare. Very supportiv and friendly staff . Treat children very nicely and like there own kids. “Thanking you little kiwi's family for taking care my child Irine. It is the best place to step into the world of wisdom. We receive warm welcome from the reception everyday, and kids really safe and enjoy their early learnings over there. The educational picnics, creativity activities, fun games, dancing practices, music practices etc helped Irene a lot. Thanking you all for the dedication and support.”
“Both my kids attended little kiwis and would've finished their preschooling there if we hadn't decided to move. When deciding to move my husband and I really struggled while looking for preschools in Australia as we wanted to ensure that we could find them schooling that matched the love & care that little kiwis provided for them. My daughter couldn't speak properly before she went to little kiwis and within a year she was talking our heads off. The true work is credited to the teachers, after 3 years of my babies attending here I can witness to the true connections these teachers build with every child. Every experience might differ but personally I recommend little kiwis to any parent looking for a childcare that will work alongside you to build your child's security and confidence!”
“After attending Llittle Kiwis, my daughter became more active and always wanting to go to "school". They have good different programs, the one I am most impressed with is the singing (thanksgiving program) , my daughter started dancing and singing after practising 1 month at the childcare. Heaps of different cultural events. Great transition.”
