What Is 20 Hours ECE funding?
20 Hours ECE is a government-funded initiative that helps reduce the cost of early childhood education for families with tamariki aged 3–5. Eligible children can receive up to 20 hours of funded care and education each week at participating services. Centres can set their own enrolment patterns and may ask for optional charges, but the funded hours themselves should be free of compulsory fees. If you are unsure how this works at Li'l Champs Early Learning Centre, it is best to ask the centre directly how they apply 20 Hours ECE.

Parent Reviews
“Great early center with really amazing teachers. For me the most important things were a diciplened and clean place. Also the way they handle children. Especially when your child starts a school, it is one of the uncomfortable time for you as well but teachers are always helpful and overcomes the situations like that. I am happy of my sons learning skills as well.”

“If your looking for a small homely centre this is it. My daughter has settled in with no issues the staff have been awesome. Staff have alot of one on one time due to small numbers of children. Staff have strong relationships with children. The children have a variety of different learning opportunities available and the staff extends the childrens learning. My daughters learning and development has extended greatly under the staff. Greatly appreciated and feels like extended family.”
“Thank you guys for everything you do!! The teachers care so much for our kids, and I always feel confident that my son isn’t just being cared for, but that’s he’s thriving. The centre manager is passionate about each and every child, and gives us parents everything we could ask for- we get updates daily, healthy meals, and celebration of cultures.
