About Education & Care Service

Education & Care Services are mainstream early learning centres that offer full-day or part-day care with a structured curriculum, qualified teachers, and a focus on learning through play. They cater to families needing flexible childcare options and wanting a balanced approach that supports social, physical, and early academic development in a diverse environment.

What Is 20 Hours ECE funding?

20 Hours ECE is a government-funded initiative that helps reduce the cost of early childhood education for families with tamariki aged 3–5. Eligible children can receive up to 20 hours of funded care and education each week at participating services. Centres can set their own enrolment patterns and may ask for optional charges, but the funded hours themselves should be free of compulsory fees. If you are unsure how this works at Kiddies Campus Early Learning Centre, it is best to ask the centre directly how they apply 20 Hours ECE.

“Our daughter, Calantha, started at Kiddies Campus when she was just 5 months old, and now at 4 years old, we couldn’t be more grateful for the nurturing and educational environment that this wonderful school has provided her. From the very first day, the staff made us feel like part of the Kiddies Campus family. The teachers are not only skilled and professional, but they truly care about the development of each child. Calantha has blossomed in ways we couldn’t have imagined. The curriculum is engaging and age-appropriate, and we’ve seen her grow in confidence, creativity, and communication. The environment is safe, loving, and fun, with a perfect balance of structure and play that fosters both academic and social development. We love the regular updates and communication we receive about Calantha’s progress, as well as the personal attention she gets. It’s clear that Kiddies Campus is committed to providing an enriching experience that supports the individual needs of each child. We are beyond thankful for all the positive experiences Calantha has had, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a wonderful place for her early education. We look forward to seeing her continue to grow with Kiddies Campus!”

“We couldn't be happier with our time at Kiddies Campus. My son started there at 1 year old and has thrived in this wonderful environment. The teachers are so friendly and great at what they do. My son always enjoyed the variety of activities (both indoors and outdoors) plus special activities to do with current events like the Olympics, Matariki etc. It was super easy to feel like a part of the KC community and the teachers were great at communicating with us and sharing stories and photos about what they have gotten up to. Would highly recommend Kiddies Campus to anyone looking for a great daycare!”

“I love Kiddies Campus. I have had two children go through the centre, and another one on the way. Over all the years, i’ve had no issues, as they’ve treated us like family. An extra bonus is, that they have a cook, who provides all their food for them, which makes it easier for me! My children liked having the same lunch as everyone else, and eating together with their friends. I love that kiddies campus promotes all celebrations/special occasions with wee themes that the children can participate in! The teachers all get on board with the dress ups ! Making it exciting! Highly recommend.”

“I enrolled both my children in this child care last year, during that time I have nothing but the worst experience of my life, dealing with a break up and going against my wishes this child care contracted my abusive ex, gave him info I didn't want him knowing, and essentially tried to help him in court. I evened up struggling with keeping up with their bills so pulled my kids out of this children and that's when the abuse started happenening. I had muliple threats from a lady I haven't even met who was essentially the manager or owner, threats to have my workplace shut down, and threats to OT, eventually they did make a report to OT but not after they doubled my bill for no reason and claimed my children were in clothing that was too small and we're always a mess. They're a child care and you'd think if they had any concerns they would have reached out to their parent at the time not 5 months later to OT. none the less I would be careful about sending your children here. We have since been going to little wonders who have been amazing, and don't have any concerns about my kids. I personally believe they were lying because I couldn't afford my bill.”

“An absolutely incredible childcare facility. The people here really love on the kids like they are their own. Each kid receives individual attention based on the way the kids receive it best. There are so many toys to play with that build all different aspects of the sensory environment. They have a baker that makes delicious, nutritious food for the kids, even as young as babies. The environment is clean (well as much as a place with kids can be), there is a fun spirit, really good quiet spaces for naps, with babies allowed to stay on their individual schedules. They are flexible, open to short-term care, accommodating to breast-feeding moms who need to feed in the middle of the day, conveniently located. What else can I say. I so highly recommend them!!”
