About Education & Care Service
Education & Care Services are mainstream early learning centres that offer full-day or part-day care with a structured curriculum, qualified teachers, and a focus on learning through play. What Is 20 Hours ECE funding?
20 Hours ECE is a government-funded initiative that helps reduce the cost of early childhood education for families with tamariki aged 3–5. Eligible children can receive up to 20 hours of funded care and education each week at participating services. Centres can set their own enrolment patterns and may ask for optional charges, but the funded hours themselves should be free of compulsory fees. If you are unsure how this works at Glenview Kindy, it is best to ask the centre directly how they apply 20 Hours ECE.

Parent Reviews
“Warning! DO NOT send your children here.”
“We have had an amazing experience with glenview kindy over the past 3+years. When our son started there he was a timid little mouse but with the love and nurturing he received from all his teachers he blossomed into a brave young man, taking part in concerts and team projects. I now have 2 of my daughters there and my almost 4 year old comes home telling me all the fun things she gets up to while she's at kindy. Some days it's a struggle to get her to LEAVE!! The teachers are always so happy and supportive to the parents as well as the kids. I recommend glenview kindy to all my mum friends who have kids aged 2 and over.”
“I cannot recommend this Kindy enough. Every time I pick up my daughter I see happy, busy children playing with staff who clearly love their jobs. The Kindy itself is bright and colourful and the outside playground is fantastic.”
