What Is 20 Hours ECE funding?
20 Hours ECE is a government-funded initiative that helps reduce the cost of early childhood education for families with tamariki aged 3–5. Eligible children can receive up to 20 hours of funded care and education each week at participating services. Centres can set their own enrolment patterns and may ask for optional charges, but the funded hours themselves should be free of compulsory fees. If you are unsure how this works at Cosmo Kids, it is best to ask the centre directly how they apply 20 Hours ECE.

Parent Reviews
“We had a fantastic experience at Cosmo Kids. My son was there for 2.5 years. The child/teacher ratio is excellent, so each child recieves plenty of attention. The days are structured well with a good mix of learning activities, play time and quiet time. They have an onsite chef who cooks fresh meals for the kids each day. Lastly, they gave my son the best possible preparation for school.”
“We have had a great experience at this daycare. Teachers are very attentive and caring and provide a wide variety of activities; our son spends a lot of his day outside. The cbd location is perfect as we share our commuting time with our son and can be there straight away should we need to collect him.”
“My name is Cong from Vietnam, who currently give my kids to study in this center. From my side, this is one of the best place for kids due to some reasons: - Teachers are really friendly and have smart lecture for kids so that they can learn knowledge quickly and funny. For example, when teachers want to teach the kids for learn 1-2-3-4 numbers or shape such as triangle, circle, they will using pencils and draw it into ground and ask kids looks and enter into circle or triangle respectively with teachers requests. I saw kids are really interesting to play the games and learn. - all the grounds are soft which does not suffer your kids when they failed - even the center is located in the city, but there are some space from center having sand so that kids can try to play with sand and do some manually jobs and work together with their friends. I suppose that this is really good for children who can know not only the knowledge but also from manually jobs or the sand which are practical. - Beside learning in the center, teachers still take kids to come outside such as park, or walk around which are helpful for children. - The tuition is suitable in comparison with other profession kind garden centers. From my perspective, I would like highly recommend for your to select this centers.”

“My son loves going to cosmo kids. It is a joy to watch the teachers interact with the kids - they are so kind and caring. It's a great environment to go into - super clean and full of smiles and laughs and singing. I enjoy getting updates on story park- its reassuring to know the babies are enjoying their day. I am very impressed by the quality of the food and not only is it healthy it must be delicious as the babies enjoy it. Convenient location if you work or live in the city. It's nice to see the relationships my child has with his friends and the teachers and it's great that there is low staff turnover. I am happy I found a team I trust with my baby”
